Ivan Tors was a Hungarian-American filmmaker who owned Ivan Tors Studios, in Miami, Florida. Most films produced in Florida after 1950 were either made by, or utilized facilities at, Ivan Tors Studios. Ricou Browning, originally the Gill Man in "Creature of the Black Lagoon", made films for Tors, including Flipper and TV show Sea Hunt.
