This shows how closely two concerns in the three-plant Pensacola naval stores complex supplement each other. The plant at the right Archer-Daniels-Midland. It receives rosin through an cross-the-street pipeline from Newport Industries, then converts it into alkyd and phenolic resins for use in the manufacture of protective coatings and plastics.
