State of Florida County of Jefferson Articles of agreement between Caroline Basemore, of the first part, and Amanda Fraser, of the second part, witnesseth that for and in consideration of one dollar, paid by the party of the second part unto the party of the first part, receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged the said party of the first part agrees and binds herself by these presents to deliver to and, by these presents, does place in the entire control and keeping of the party of the second part, her daughter Bell, colored girl three years old, to be kept by her until the said Bell arrives at majority or until she the said Bell is married, and the party of the first party hereby relinquishes to the party of the second part all control and claim to is whom the said Bell, her daughter, said party of the second party assumes all responsibilities and care of said Bell and binds herself to have her taught the rudiments of learning, and to feed and clothe her until the said Bell attains her majority is until she marries. In witness whereof, the parties hereunto have signed their names in token of this their does
