State of Florida Jefferson County This agreement entered into this day between Wm. R. Bell of the first part & Maria Shackelford of the second part witnesseth That the said party of the first part having employed the said party of the second part for the present year does hereby agree to pay her the sum of seventy five dollars for her services from this date until the 25th day of December next, & to feed her and her youngest child & to furnish her a house to live in. And the said party of the second part for & in consideration of the above, does hereby agree to serve the said party of the first part from this date until the 25th day of December next, & to give him her entire time, & to perform faithfully all duties assigned to her, to take good care of everything left to her care & to pay for all time lost without the consent of her employer at the rate of fifty cents per day.
