for the said Young to discharge any of us, the party so violating it to forfeit so much of his wages to the said Young and remaining freedmen as a board of arbitration shall determine. And said Young on his part agrees to furnish land, stock and farming implements for farming purposes and to furnish provisions for the team, and to furnish to each full and able bodied hand three and one half pounds of bacon per week and one pack of meal per week, and after the crops [are] made and housed, he agrees to give the said freedman one third of the crop made and housed by them.
In witness whereof, we said this day affixed our names in the [presence] of willingness this Jan 12th 1867.
