Description
Letter from Algy Knox Bevins to his mother, Minnie Bevins, discussing his first leave in London, England and family affairs.
[It's] quite cold where I am writing this but I reckon [you'll] be able to read it. I enjoyed a bed last night for the first time since we left the other side and it was quite a treat.
I [had] a [?] snap a picture of me a [?] short time ago and am sending you one for I know [you'll] want it. You [?]so will get a remittance direct from t[?] government soon for we've made [arrangements] to send [part] of our pay direct. Hope you get it without delay.
