Key West July 29 1917
Dear Sister we are bound for [somewhere] I [don't] know are leaving tomorrow at one P.M. [W]e may go to Charleston S.C. or Brooklyn N.Y. I think from what the captain told one of the boys we will go to Brooklyn. We are leaving Key West for good[.]
The Seneca[,] another cutter[,] left the Docks for N.Y. at 3 P.M. today and the [Tallapoosa] about 4[.] [T]hey say all the cutters are ordered in northern waters. We have been to sea twice since we got back just got in yesterday[.]
