This indenture made this 26 day of February A.D. 1867 between John P. Cooksey of the first part and Agrippa Davis of the second part, both of the County of Jefferson in the State of Florida, witnesseth: that the first part hath let, and by these presents doth grant, devise [?], and let to the said party of the second part, his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, all that parcel of land belonging to the party of the first part, in the County of Jefferson (and known as the Boland Field), containing sixty or seventy acres, for cultivation during the year A.D. 1867 and the said party of the second part doth covenant and agree to cultivate in a husband-like manner sixty acres, more or less, of said field and pay to the said party of the first part one fourth of the cotton, corn, and other produce raised and gathered by party of the second part on said field or parcel of land, and said party of the second part do further covenant and agree to split a sufficient number of rails and put up a lawful fence on said place from the south east corner and running across to the south west corner of the same, and the said party of the first part agrees to pay the said

party of the second part for said work, what is now usually allowed for similar work. For the full performance of the foregoing agreement, we do mutually bind ourselves, our heirs, executors, administrators and assigns. In testimony whereof, we do hereunto set our hands and seals this 26 day of February A.D. 1867. John P. Cooksey (L.S.) Agrippa Davis (his X mark) (L.S.)
