Wacissa, Florida March 13th 1867 State of Florida Jefferson County This agreement of co-partnership entered into the year and month and date above mentioned between W. C. Thomas of the County and State above written party of the first part and Isaac Rayford, William Taylor, Council Kilfredrick, Berry Applewhite, and Fedo Cole a colored freedmen party of the second part all of the State and County mentioned. The consideration of their agreement is as follows that I, W. C. Thomas, party of the first part do agree to give the above written freedmen party of the second part one half of all the produce they make on the plantation of W. C. Thomas for the year 1867, also agreed to furnish land, horses, and plantation implements to carry on the farm such as hoes, plows, asses, and wagons all at the entire expense of party of the first part. The above written freedmen party of the second part do agree to furnish all the labor necessary to tend the farm they have in charge also agree to feed themselves and all labor they may have in [their] charge and house the crop gin and pack all the cotton made on the farm in [their] charge for cultivation.

Also agree to haul the crop of cotton to Station No. 2 P&G RR, also agree to furnish rope and bagging for [their] part of the cotton; do also agree to keep up that part of the fence that appertains to [their] part of the farm this contract to remain in full force until the crop of 1867 is [gathered] and housed.
